“The Last Breaskfast” – Ominous shadows hang over another last meal.

“It is one of the Twelve,” he replied, “one who dips bread into the bowl with me.The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.”  -Mark 14:20-21

Exactly two weeks before that fateful day, Willie Augustus Somersett [ http://tinyurl.com/kk7empo ] an FBI informant in Miami records a conversation with radical and extreme right-wing racist Joseph A. Milteer. [ http://tinyurl.com/o8ne8w7 ]

SOMERSETT: I don’t know, I think Kennedy is coming here on the 18th………

MILTEER: You can bet your bottom dollar he is going to have a lot to say about the Cubans, there are so many of them here.

SOMERSETT: Yeah, well he will have a thousand bodyguards, don’t worry about that.

MILTEER: The more bodyguards he has, the easier it is to get him.

SOMERSETT: What?

MILTEER: The more bodyguards he has the more easier it is to get him.

SOMERSETT: Well how in the hell do you figure would be the best way to get him?

MILTEER: From an office building with a high-powered rifle

SOMERSETT: You think he knows he is a marked man?

MILTEER: Sure he does.

SOMERSETT: Boy, if that Kennedy gets shot, we have got to know where we are at. Because you know that will be a real shake, if they do that.

MILTEER: They wouldn’t leave any stone unturned there no way. They will pick up somebody within hours afterwards, if anything like that would happen just to throw the public off.

In JFK’s 1039 days in office, he provided 1039 different powerful and highly motivated people, 1039 different reasons. President Kennedy knew he was a marked man. Although there is no “prophetic” prediction from the President himself, the idea undoubtedly hung in the air all around him.

thIt was thursday night, JFK was less than 18hrs and 50 miles from Dealey. The President retired to room 850 of Hotel Texas. In the morning he would have breakfast and give a quick speech to the Texas Chamber of Commerce.

LBJ and other important Texans were to attend. The event was covered on local TV. There are some generally interesting, and ominous tones to the event.

JFK being introduced to the crowd of 600+ guests. Quite a grim, and sadly, an accurate prediction of things to come.

The President enters the Crystal Ballroom

With hindsight, this particular song from the Texas boys choir is just plain creepy.

The Eyes of Texas are Upon You!

The eyes of Texas are upon you,
All the live long day.
The eyes of Texas are upon you,
You cannot get away.
Do not think you can escape them,
At night, or early in the morn.
The eyes of Texas are upon you,
Till Gabriel blows his horn!

Mrs. Kennedy’s entrance into the ballroom. (Killed it)

JFK at his best in a classic Kennedy moment.

The crowd almost coaxed him into doing it.

Sadly we never got that chance. JFK was gunned down in his prime, and the official story of the “lone gunman” is still forced upon the American people.

As a wise man once said “A mistake is only a mistake, if you refuse to correct it.”
